They always describe Sherlock Holmes as being alone.  And recently, I've been thinking so much about what being alone really means. I'm not alone.  I never am.  I surround myself with friends.  But yet, so many of my relationships fail.  They fail because of me.  I know they do.  They fail because I'm not willing to compromise my gift - my gift of knowing and exposing through my writing.  I suppose everyone's confined in some respect by their personal boundaries. I'm not a political writer.  But I am a journalist.  And it's my belief that politics refers to more than the elections we may or may not watch on TV.  Politics can be related to anything we feel at the moment based on our current social dynamic or interactions.
